FAMU Transfer Living Learning Community

The FAMU Transfer Living Learning Community (LLC) is designed to serve as a community for incoming transfer students. Transfer LLC students will participate in academic, personal career, and social activities to ensure a successful transition to the university. These activities will serve as catalysts to enhance and support the academic progression towards a timely graduation.

BENEFITS

The Transfer LLC is designed to create a supportive and engaging environment for transfer students to learn about and get acclimated to the university. Activities will include:

  • Academic Workshops
  • Social activities
  • Peer Mentoring
  • Academic coaching (as needed)
  • Academic support such as tutoring and study sessions
  • Networking with peers, staff, administration and alumni

READY TO APPLY?

Transfer students from any academic program are encouraged to apply to the living learning community. Interested students will be required to complete the internal application for the Transfer LLC.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Admitted to the university for the Fall term
  • Have earned at least 30 credits at previous institution
  • Minimum GPA of 2.75
  • Enrolled full-time
