Margareth Larose-Pierre, Pharm.D., RPh. is the Founding Campus Dean, Director and
Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University College
of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Institute of Public Health, Durell Peaden,
Jr. Rural Pharmacy Education Campus in Crestview, Florida. She obtained a Bachelor
of Science in Chemistry, a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and went on to complete a PGY-1
ASHP-accredited residency, and additional certificates in Physical Assessment in Patient
Care Management, Advanced Critical Care Therapeutics, Medication Therapy Management
and Pharmacogenomics in Clinical Practice. She has over 30 years of experience in
pharmacy education, clinical practice and research. Her focused areas include critical
care and infectious disease. She has contributed multiple publications to the pharmacy
literature and continues to serve in several leadership roles in professional organizations
and advisory boards. Her current passion and interest include the role of emotional
intelligence and professional identity formation in the advancement of the pharmacy
profession.
