Dr. Holmes, PharmD, BCPS is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Institute of Public Health at the Durell Peaden Jr. Rural Pharmacy Education Campus. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Florida A&M University in 2018 and then competed a PGY1 residency at Ascension Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. She then came back to Florida A&M University in August 2019. She has obtained board certification as a pharmacotherapy specialist (BCPS) and advanced her teaching skills by becoming certified in Effective College Instruction by the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE). She currently teaches learners in the classroom and on experiential rotations. She also plays a vital role in assisting fourth-year learners in residency and interview preparation. Her research interests include internal medicine, infectious disease, and solid organ transplant.
