Greetings FAMU Rattlers!
Returners 2025-2026 Online Housing application will open on Monday, February 3, 2025.
Please be prepared to act promptly and follow the instructions provided as space is limited, and the University cannot guarantee on-campus housing or assignment to a particular building, floor, or room. Housing is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, be aware that your student account balance must be below $500 to complete the housing application.
Nonrefundable Housing Advanced Payment
To gain access to the online housing application and become eligible for assignment to a bedspace, you must first pay your $200 Nonrefundable Housing Advanced Payment Fee. You can access the payment portal by clicking on Student iRattler Portal and selecting Campus Solutions then Student Center.
Be mindful, should you have a $500 or more balance and attempt to pay the Nonrefundable Housing Advanced Payment, the payment will go toward your current student fees. The University will not process a refund and you will not gain access to the housing application portal.

Fall Class Registration and Housing Assignment
Room assignments will begin in early May. University policies require returning students to be registered for fall 2025 classes before they are assigned to on-campus housing. Any student who has submitted a 2025-2026 housing application and paid the $200 Advanced Fee; however, failed to register for fall classes, shall not be assigned to on-campus housing.
NOTICE: If an applicant is not assigned because of nonregistration, they will be skipped in the process. The assignment process will continue in the order of received applications. Once the list has been processed, assignments will start again from the top going in order of submitted completed applicants who have registered for fall classes.
For more information regarding class registration, please contact your assigned academic advisor.
