Payments and Fees

Students are responsible for paying all charges each semester as set forth in the Student Housing Agreement. Payments can be made through your iRattler account or, in person, at the Office of Student Accounts. Financial aid may cover housing costs.

Payment plans are available through your iRattler account. More information concerning payments to the University can be found through Student Financial Services

Non-Refundable Advance Payment

To begin the application for housing, an Advance Payment must be made to the student account. The Advance Payment is non-refundable and, generally, can be made through your iRattler account. The link can be found in your Student Center under “Finances” and is labeled “Housing Advance Agreement”.

• A $200 Advance Payment is required ahead of registration for the Fall/Spring semester.
• Returning residents participating in summer housing sessions are required to make a $100 nonrefundable advance housing payment.
• New students entering the university during the summer are required to make a $200 nonrefundable advance housing payment in order to complete their housing application.

Mailed payments must be in the form of a money order or cashier’s check and can be made out to:

Students with amounts owed to the University less than $500.00 may be permitted to register for housing for subsequent terms.

For students owing more than $500.00 to the University, specific instructions for the housing application process will be disseminated in accordance with University guidelines.

In some instances, scholarships and other financial aid may cover the $200 Advance Payment.

Under certain circumstances and only by approval of the Director of University Housing, the Advance Payment may be deferred. Requests for deferment of the Advance Payment must be made in writing to the Director of University Housing.

Some students may gain access to the Housing application prior to completing the Advance Payment or ahead of opening day. In these instances, the application will not be processed and no housing assignment will be made.
