Elaine Bryant is the Associate Dean of Administrative and Fiscal Affairs in the School of Journalism & Graphic Communication (SJGC) at Florida A&M University. Elaine Bryant is a 20+ year senior executive with expertise in both the public and private sectors. Having held assignments as Tallahassee City Commissioner, Division Director, Deputy Director, Bureau Chief and Training Specialist at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and a School Psychologist in the Leon County School System, Elaine capped off her public service career as the Assistant Secretary for Management & Budget, Florida Department of Juvenile Justice.  In that position she was primarily responsible for providing visionary leadership for the department’s business operations to include the Human Resources, Finance & Accounting, Budget, Information Resource Management and General Services. 

Elaine is also a gifted motivational speaker.  From the storyteller at the family kitchen table, to anointed spiritual leaders and political statesmen, great speakers have motivated people throughout history. Elaine Bryant is part of that tradition. Elaine uses the wisdom gained from her life experience as an educator, executive, and entrepreneur as the foundation from which she shares her hard-won secrets and strategies to overcome any obstacle, gain freedom, experience joy, and destroy discouragement. With confidence, credibility (a combination of likeability and expertise), enthusiasm, and a reputation for delivering the inspiration an audience needs, Elaine’s presentation style is energetic, captivating, stimulating, and at times humorous. Elaine can take a group of people and make them feel well, motivated and inspired to be and do more than they ever imagined themselves being and doing.
