I've cultivated a unique perspective with a diverse background spanning eight years in civilian law enforcement and seven years in the private sector. My journey into academia is driven by an insatiable curiosity and a desire to explore complex issues. During my law enforcement career, I developed strong problem-solving skills and an unwavering commitment to public service. My private sector experience sharpened by understanding of governmental operations and national defense's intricacies. Beyond my professional pursuits, I am an avid reader, always searching various genres to broaden my knowledge. Bowling serves as my recreational escape, allowing me to unwind and connect with friends and family. I also enjoy serving my community in various programs as a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. The transition to academia represents my commitment to personal growth and a desire to contribute to a deeper understanding of the world in which we live. It’s a new chapter in my journey and a pleasure to return to the "Highest of the seven hills to teach the next global leaders at Florida A&M University.
