The M.S. Sport Management is designed to produce graduates capable of demonstrating identified as described by employees of tomorrow's sports industry professionals.
The sports industry is booming from 2020 to 2022; key players are driving the growth coming from the top 15 biggest sports brands and their total ‘brand value’ in US dollars, across all four categories (business, events, athletes, teams) ranked in Forbes Magazine’s 2019.
The current sport management program is in parallel with the growth of the profession. Florida A&M Athletics directly hire our graduate students to support the sports industry, including marketing and management. FAMU's sport management graduate program is designed to train business managers with the knowledge, skills, and disposition to handle business matters related to sports teams and related business.

Q: What is the required GPA?
A: Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale covering the last 60 credit
hours or 90 quarter hours (whichever one is applicable) of undergraduate study

A: Applicants must have a minimum combined score of 283 from the quantitative and verbal
sections of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE)

A: Applicants must submit three (3) professional letters of reference (i.e. from former
