Dr. Kristine M. Fleming is Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator of Health, Leisure, and Fitness Studies, and Interim Chair in the Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU). With broad and extensive knowledge in fields related to health, leisure, and fitness studies, Dr. Fleming leads the faculty in integrating health and leisure behaviors in research and teaching. She has over 10 years of experience training and mentoring student interns to plan, implement, and evaluate child and youth programs on U.S. military installations in Asia, Europe, and the U.S. With her education and recreation program experience, Dr. Fleming continues to mentor students in areas of research and professional development.
