FAMU EM participated in Florida's Emergency Management Day at the Capitol utilizing the opportunity to connect with other State University System members and sharing campus preparedness ideas.
The Department of Emergency Management hosted a FEMA Critical Incident Management Training for members of the university's Senior Leadership Team to ensure decision-making processes remain efficient and effective when facing critical incidents.

The FAMU EOC was once again activated and staffed with various University Departments and public safety partners this past weekend to kick off the 2024 football season. The EOC will continue to be activated throughout all football home games this season to monitor activity at the stadium and prioritize the safety of all attendees.
