The members of The Department of Campus Safety & Security are committed to providing the students, visitors, faculty and staff of FAMU an environment where people can live, visit and work safely.
The members of the FAMU DCSS, often referred to as FAMU PD, understand the importance
of what they do and have a strong sense of duty when it comes to their mission and vision of protecting and serving the students, visitors, faculty, and staff within FAMU.
Their efforts, hard work, and courage are for our department.
The Florida A&M University Department of Campus Safety & Security is the first and
the only HBCU law enforcement agency to be accredited by three separate law enforcement accrediting bodies.
