The members of The FAMU Police Department are committed to providing the students, visitors, faculty and staff of FAMU an environment where people can live, visit and work safely.
The members of the FAMU Police Department, often referred to as FAMU PD, understand
the importance of what they do and have a strong sense of duty when it comes to their
mission and vision of protecting and serving the students, visitors, faculty, and staff within FAMU.
Their efforts, hard work, and courage are for our department.
The Florida A&M University Police Department is the first and the only HBCU law enforcement
agency to be accredited by three separate law enforcement accrediting bodies.
