Resource Optimization Initiative

 

Under the leadership of Florida A & M University (FAMU) Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Donald E. Palm III, the Resource Optimization Initiative empowers faculty and staff to enhance operational efficiency, improve educational quality, advance efforts to achieve R1 research institutional status, and foster financial sustainability. By working together, we aim to optimize resources across departments, colleges, and schools, ensuring we meet today’s needs and prepare for tomorrow’s opportunities.

 

 
Purpose
  • Achieving Operational Efficiency and Financial Stability:

    Optimize how FAMU uses its resources by evaluating organizational structures, skill sets, operational efficiency, strategic alignment, and budget allocation.

  • Alignment of Resources with University Priorities:
    Ensure the university’s budget and effort are directed toward advancing the university’s mission and strategic goals.
