The School of Business and Industry (SBI) at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) offers a PharmD/MBA dual degree program designed to produce professionals with robust management and business skills coupled with the ability to proficiently practice pharmacy in a variety of settings. For those who seek employment with health care organizations, managed care companies, academic institutions, or with industry, the FAMU PharmD/MBA dual degree program will shorten the time span necessary to earn both degrees independently, amplify graduate marketability in the workforce, and galvanize graduates into positions of management.

The PharmD/MBA program produces graduates with career choice flexibility and competitive advantage in the sense that they are able to utilize their business training to pursue careers in health sector management and leadership in a variety of organizations. Q: Does the MBA program provide candidates with opportunity for pursuing a concentration or a major?
A: Although the MBA program does not officially offer majors or concentrations, candidates are able to take elective courses in their fields of interest in order to develop an emphasis in those fields.

Q: Is it possible to take any of the MBA courses online?
A: SBI currently has a limited number of online courses for main campus MBA students. We are however, planning on adding more online course in the future
