Dr. Jamie Davis serves as the Director of the Undergraduate Student Success Center. He is responsible for supervising the Academic Coaches and Learning Center staff. Dr. Davis received his terminal degree in Educational Policy and Leadership from Florida State University. He has over 17 years of experience in education, serving as a high school educator and higher education administrator. ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
Karl Barthol is an Academic Coach in the Undergraduate Student Success Center. Mr. Barthol is a proud graduate of the illustrious Florida A&M University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Social Science and Education. He is a former educator and has worked with typical and special needs students in both K-12 and higher education. Mr. Barthol strongly believes that every student has the ability to be academically and socially successful, given the appropriate tools, strategies, and resources. It is his hope to not only help students matriculate through college, but also become productive citizens in their communities.
Karen Mitchell is an Academic Coach in the Undergraduate Student Success Center. Ms. Mitchell majored in Political Science and minored in Romance Languages, French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Italian. Ms. Mitchell has been working in academia for 22 years and served as a Coordinator in International Education, Academic Advisor and now Academic Coach. Ms. Mitchell’s goal as coach is to see students of all majors be well emotionally and physically, and use the tutoring and counseling resources available to enhance their wellness and academic skills.ㅤ
Ronnie Mackey Jr. is an Academic Coach in the Undergraduate Student Success Center. Mr. Mackey Jr. is a proud alumnus of the illustrious Florida Agriculture & Mechanical University where he successfully obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism. Mr. Mackey is also an award-winning published author and returns back to "The Highest of 7 Hills" after working as a faculty instructor at Florida State University’s Development Research School. As a proud alumnus, Mr. Mackey values serving as an Academic Coach because he's able to give back and be a vital resource to current Rattler scholars.
Amanda Williams is the Coordinator of Academic Support in the Undergraduate Student Success Center. Ms. Williams holds a bachelor's degree in English and a master's degree in Public Administration from Florida A&M University. Ms. Williams has a background in tutoring students in English, student residence life, compliance, and education and employment training. It is her goal to empower students to use critical thinking skills in everyday practices to achieve a positive result in academics and in life.
Coneisha Thomas is an Academic Coach in the Undergraduate Student Success Center. Ms. Thomas is a graduate of the illustrious Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. Ms. Thomas has a bachelor's degree in Political Science and worked as a legal assistant for a family law firm after graduation. Her objective in working with students is to see that they are successful while attending the university while utilizing all resources provided in hopes they'll have all the tools they need to succeed in the real world.

Kiersten Mitchell is an academic coach in the Undergraduate Student Success Center. Ms. Mitchell is a proud alumna of Florida A&M University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Biology. Ms. Mitchell also holds a Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Counseling. Ms. Mitchell has clinical experience working with children, teens, and families as well as experience working with the college student population. Ms. Mitchell strongly believes that college years are extremely pivotal for students. Imani Evora is an Academic Coach in the Undergraduate Success Center. Imani is a Tallahassee native that received her Bachelor's of Science in Public Relations from Florida A&M University. Her goal is to create a safe and reflective environment that allows students to feel seen as they individually develop into the best versions of themselves. In doing so, Imani concentrates on helping students develop life skills such as self-awareness, mindfulness, and personal development.
