Marching "100" Summer Band Camp - 2024

practice The Marching “100” Summer Band Camp is one of the most comprehensive band camps in the country. This band camp offers middle and high school students the opportunity to improve their music proficiency, improve their marching concepts, play in small chamber groups, as well as perform concert band and jazz ensemble music. We have an excellent auxiliary staff that instructs our color guard, dancers, twirlers and drum majors.

Irene C. Edmonds Youth Theatre Camp (ICE) - 2024

Embark on an exciting journey with the FAMU Elementary Cyber! This is a five-week performing arts camp that has been a perennial favorite for over 20 years. It is a non-profit program for boys and girls ages 7-16 that seeks to explore and enhance the intellectual, emotional, creative, and artistic abilities and talents of each participant.

The camp is designed to introduce and expose participants to the arts—theater, music, and dance—through daily classes, workshops, and cultural/entertainment excursions. The program culminates with a theatrical production on the campus of Florida A&M University.

The youth theatre members continue participating with the Theatre Program throughout the year by attending Essential Theatre productions deemed appropriate for their varying age groups, as well as other suitable cultural and academic activities in the area.

Program of Excellence in STEM (PE-STEM)

practice This in-person and remote program exposes students to STEM lessons, as well as research projects in STEM areas.  Students will participate in professional development and team building activities designed to expose them to career opportunities in STEM areas.  The program includes weekly field trips, and will conclude with both a research symposium where students present research projects and a Closing Ceremony.  FACE-TO-FACE program (with limited virtual spaces available).

AIM Higher Black Male College Explorers Program

placeholder The goal of the program is to: improve academic performance, reduce chronic absenteeism, and increase the graduation rate of underprivileged male participants. The Black Male College Explorers Program is a prevention/intervention program to prevent at-risk Black males from dropping out of high school. It is designed specifically to facilitate admission to college, and significantly increase their chances of earning a college degree.

Mobley-Thompson Virtual Summer Academy 2024
