Directions to Campus

 

From Tallahassee International Airport

  1. Exit right onto Capital Circle and go east until you reach the traffic light at Springhill Road.
  2. Turn left onto Springhill Road and continue north until you reach Orange Avenue.
  3. Turn right onto Orange Avenue and continue until you reach Wahnish Way.
  4. Turn left onto Wahnish Way and continue about a half mile until you reach campus.
  5. Bragg Memorial Stadium is on the left behind the Army ROTC building, Howard Hall.
  6. Turn left into the Howard Hall/Bragg Stadium entrance and drive all the way down until you reach the stadium and park
    on the left side.

East on Interstate 10 (Alabama, Pensacola)

1. Take Exit 192, which will put you on U.S. 90.
2. Drive about 10 miles east on U.S. 90 and turn right onto Macomb Street (there is a Popeye’s Chicken on the corner).
3. Continue on Macomb Street. The name of the street will change to Railroad Avenue when it intersects Gaines Street.
Continue on Railroad Avenue. The street name will change again to Wahnish Way when it intersects FAMU Way. You are
now on campus.
4. Continue up the hill on Wahnish Way and go through the intersection of Gamble Street. You will pass the Student
Services Center and the Parking Garage.
5. Bragg Memorial Stadium is on the right, behind the Army ROTC building, Howard Hall.
6. Turn left into the Howard Hall/Bragg Stadium entrance and drive all the way down until you reach the stadium and park
on the left side.

 

West on Interstate 10 (From I-75 or I-95)

  1. Take Exit 209A, which will put you on U.S. 90, still traveling west.
  2. Continue on U.S. 90 (also called Tennessee Street) for another 8 miles.
  3. Go through the Monroe Street intersection and travel another half mile before turning left onto Macomb Street (there is
    a Popeye’s Chicken on the corner).
  4. Continue on Macomb Street. The name of the street will change to Railroad Avenue when it intersects Gaines Street.
    Continue on Railroad Avenue. The street name will change again to Wahnish Way when it intersects FAMU Way. You are
    now on campus.
  5. Continue up the hill on Wahnish Way and go through the intersection of Gamble Street. You will pass the Student
    Services Center and the Parking Garage.

West/North on U.S. 27 (Apalachee Parkway)

  1. Apalachee Parkway ends at the Capitol Building. Get into the outside left lane, and turn left onto Monroe Street.
  2. At the second red light, turn right onto Gaines Street.
  3. Continue on Gaines and turn left onto Railroad Avenue. Railroad Avenue will turn into Wahnish Way at the FAMU Way
    Intersection.
  4. Continue up the hill on Wahnish Way and go through the intersection of Gamble Street. You will pass the Student
    Services Center and the Parking Garage.
  5. Bragg Memorial Stadium is on the right, behind the Army ROTC building, Howard Hall.
  6. Turn left into the Howard Hall/Bragg Stadium entrance and drive all the way down until you reach the stadium and park
    on the left side.

 

South from Atlanta and Points North

  1. Take U.S. 319 South through Thomasville, Georgia. As you approach Tallahassee, U.S. 319 becomes Thomasville Road.
  2. When you pass Killarney Way/Maclay Boulevard, stay to the right, on Thomasville Road. Do not follow U.S. 319 as it
    veers left onto Capital Circle.
  3. After you cross under Interstate 10, stay on Thomasville Road for about 4 miles and turn left onto Monroe Street. (U.S.
    27).
  4. Continue on Monroe until you reach Tennessee Street. Turn right onto Tennessee Street.
  5. Continue west on Tennessee until you reach Macomb Street and turn left onto Macomb (there is a Popeye’s Chicken on
    the corner).
  6. Continue on Macomb Street. The name of the street will change to Railroad Avenue when it intersects Gaines Street.
    Continue on Railroad Avenue. The street name will change again to Wahnish Way when it intersects FAMU Way. You are
    now on campus.
