Amy Renaud, Pharm.D., TTS, is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the Florida
A&M University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Institute of Public
Health at the Durell Peaden Jr. Rural Pharmacy Education Campus. Prior to earning
her Pharm.D., she taught high school students in the subject areas of physical science,
chemistry, and marine science. Upon graduating from pharmacy school, she completed
a Post-Graduate Year One residency at FAMU and the Apalachee Center, Inc. During her
residency, she completed the additional training necessary to become a Tobacco Treatment
Specialist (TTS) and to earn her American Society of Health-System Pharmacists Teaching
Certificate for Pharmacists. She has also completed the necessary training required
to administer long-acting injectable antipsychotics. She currently teaches in didactic
courses throughout the Pharm.D. curriculum and serves as the course coordinator for
the Professional Pharmacy Practice I and II courses, in addition to maintaining a
pharmacy practice site at North Okaloosa Medical Center in Crestview, Florida.
