Executive Director of Community Relations Mildred Graham fosters trust in and around the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University College of Law community. Graham, who earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from FAMU’s main campus and MBA from Webster University, uses her education, journalism experience, and intimate knowledge of the central Florida region to enhance various aspects of the College of Law.
Graham’s leadership boosts fundraising, donor management, public relations, communication and alumni affairs at the College of Law. While Graham currently maintains community engagement through membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, she has also led Girl Scouts and worked with the Central Florida Association of Black Journalists. A former Orlando Sentinel reporter and editor, who worked for the newspaper for 10 years, Graham has lived in Orlando for 30 years. Graham asserts that being a FAMU Rattler means “being proud.” Consistent with true Rattler spirit, Graham has worked for FAMU College of Law since 2002.
