About Me


Dr. Victor Eno is associate professor of political science in the Department of History & Political Science at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU), where he teaches courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in political science, public administration and public policy and international relations. Dr. Eno’s array of research interests includes health policy and politics with a focus on minority populations’ access to healthcare; public policy implementation; scholarship of teaching and learning; international and African development - population health, governance, democratization, etc.

His publications, including journal articles and book chapters, have appeared in Public Administration and Management, Journal of Law and Social Sciences, SAGE Open, Global Encyclopedia of Public Administration, Public Policy and Governance, PS: Political Science & Politics, among others. He serves as Faculty Research Mentor in the university’s Undergraduate Rattler Research (URR) program where he mentors political science majors to enhance their research output, among other efforts to support student learning and civic engagement.

Dr. Eno has considerable international experience. He has taught at college level in Nigeria. He has volunteered in international projects including as a management trainer for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)-Florida A&M University Farmer-to-Farmer program in South Africa. He has provided performance evaluation services to federal agencies, including USAID, U.S. State Department, and International Trade Administration of the U.S. Department of Commerce, that require not only skills in personnel performance evaluation but also international experience and perspective.
