Laura L. Myers, PhD, MSW, has been a professor in Social Work at Florida A&M University
in Tallahassee, FL for 17 years. She has written books on Cultural Diversity, Research
Methods, Program Evaluation, and Basic Statistical Methods. Her main research interests
are in the many areas of human diversity, including culture, race, personality, sexual
orientation, and gender identity and expression. She has four beautiful grown children
scattered across the country, all living diverse and fabulous lives. She is married,
living a serene life on a lake outside Tallahassee, FL.
