About Me


Dr. Katherine Tindell is an Assistant Professor of Sociology in the Sociology and Criminal Justice Department at Florida A&M University. She received her PhD. and master’s from Florida State University and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls. She teaches courses on the principles of sociology, family, parenting, social problems, and statistics. Her research interests focus on workplace inequality, workplace bullying, gender, race, and social stratification using both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
