  • Get Tested

  • Free COVID-19 rapid testing is also available at 2507 Wahnish Way. FAMU faculty, staff, and students can request a PCR test by asking for the "FAMU PCR Test."
  • Refrain from entering your work space or classroom until you receive your result.

  • Get Vaccinated!

  • Vaccination, including booster shots, is STRONGLY encouraged. FAMU's free testing and vaccination site, located at 2507 Wahnish Way, is a convenient option (across from FAMU Police Dept.). Simply walk up, get your shot, and go.

  • Face Covering Guidance

  • KN95 masks are recommended indoors as the COVID-19 transmission levels in our community are high.
  • Remember that cloth masks alone are insufficient to reduce transmission of recent variants.

  • Symptomatic?

  • Per CDC guidance, individuals who have been exposed to COVID-19 no longer need to quarantine, but should wear a mask for 10 days. It is recommended that you test for COVID-19 on Day 5.
  • If you test positive for COVID-19, immediately report that information to Student Health Services. 
  • Students living in campus residence halls who test positive may isolate in place.

  • Return kits for faculty, staff, and students are still available. Department reps may contact POM to arrange pick up — (850) 599-8048).
